Immediate opening: we are hiring a baker in Valsad, State of Gujarat. Ideally you have familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens; able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen; food handler / hygiene certificate. Day to day you will decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; score the top of loaves before baking; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. ₹29,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
