Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards The role involves fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork.
