We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Mysore, State of Karnataka. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements The role involves: • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine Six days a week, one day off. ₹650 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
