Join our team: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Uttarkashi, State of Uttarakhand. You will work in a die and mould making unit. Day to day you will set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe. We are looking for physically fit to stand and lift workpieces; proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. ₹750 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week — bring your tools.
