Urgent requirement: we are hiring a head butcher in Jajpur, State of Odisha. You will be based at a busy retail butcher's shop. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day Day-to-day duties: • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case Full-time, day shift.
