Finishing presser — Rajsamand

Join our team: we are hiring a finishing presser in Rajsamand, State of Rajasthan. You will be based in a garment export house. The role involves spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments. Ideally you have comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment; sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings; a keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases.
