Head baker wanted in East Garo Hills

Immediate opening: we are hiring a head baker in East Garo Hills, Meghalaya. You will be based at a café with an on-site bakery. Day-to-day duties: • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream Ideally you have food handler / hygiene certificate; knowledge of dough fermentation and proving. 6+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week — bring your tools.
