Now hiring: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Kabeerdham, State of Chhattisgarh. You will be based in the melting bay of a steel foundry. You should bring understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling; comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal; willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor. Your main tasks: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together 1+ years on the tools preferred. ₹26,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
