We are recruiting: we are hiring a garment machinist in Tinsukia, Assam. On a typical shift you will trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance. You should bring able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown; understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
