Join our team: we are hiring a foundry operative in Bangalore Urban, State of Karnataka. The job is in a non-ferrous casting shop. Day-to-day duties: • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges Requirements: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Basic grinding and fettling skills 3+ years on the tools preferred.
