Foundry worker • Nalanda, State of Bihar

Great opportunity: we are hiring a foundry worker in Nalanda, State of Bihar. Day-to-day duties: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring Ideally you have physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings; knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. PF/ESI and paid leave as per norms. Contact us to fix an interview.
