Join our team: we are hiring a furnace operator in Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh. The job is on the moulding line. Day-to-day duties: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture Ideally you have physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings; comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal.
