Now hiring: we are hiring a scaffold fitter in Chamba, State of Himachal Pradesh. You will work at a commercial fit-out project. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Working-at-height / PASMA training an advantage The role involves plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level; install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts; fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform; erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage; dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely; fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
