Join our team: tailor machinist (State of Chhattisgarh)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Mungeli, State of Chhattisgarh. You will be based at a busy garment factory. On a typical shift you will match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line. Ideally you have 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory; quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams; can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently.
