You should bring comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line; 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory. On a typical shift you will sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
