Now hiring: we are hiring a confectioner in Sheikhpura, State of Bihar. You will work at a busy bakery. You will rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream. Requirements: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Basic cake decorating and piping skills Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
