Flatlock machine operator — Kiphire

Great opportunity: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Kiphire, State of Nagaland. You will work at a busy garment factory. Ideally you have able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown; comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line; hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines. On the job you will handle: • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
