Great opportunity: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh. The job is in a chemical processing unit. Day to day you will investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges. Ideally you have sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations; minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites; comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces. ₹21,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
