Vacancy available: we are hiring a carpenter in Lakhisarai, State of Bihar. You will work on a residential housebuilding project. You will build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours. We are looking for NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent; confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers. Performance bonus on top of base pay.
