Brick and block layer — Bilaspur

We are recruiting: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Bilaspur, State of Himachal Pradesh. The job is at a renovation and extension job. On the job you will handle: • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser Ideal candidate: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding ₹1,000 per day, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week — bring your tools.
