You should have: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day You will grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring). Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer ₹28,000 per month plus benefits.
