Foundry operative wanted in Ernakulam

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry operative in Ernakulam, State of Kerala. You will work at a busy iron foundry. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection On a typical shift you will check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch.
