Now hiring: we are hiring a shakeout operator in South Tripura, Tripura. Ideal candidate: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry The role involves: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale Full-time with occasional weekends.
