Now hiring: we are hiring a crane operator in Arvalli, State of Gujarat. The job is in a steel fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure You should bring understanding of hand and radio signals; a good head for heights for tower crane work; valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent). ₹210 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
