We are recruiting: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in North Garo Hills, Meghalaya. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • ITI in welder trade or equivalent At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
