Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding On a typical shift you will bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
