Meat cutter wanted in South West Khasi Hills

Now hiring: we are hiring a meat cutter in South West Khasi Hills, Meghalaya. You will be based in a meat processing plant. Day-to-day duties: • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Season and marinate meat on request Ideal candidate: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
