Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry operative in Kalahandi, State of Odisha. The role involves mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. ₹27,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
