Requirements: • Able to work under the dashboard and bonnet for long periods • Skilled with multimeter, test lamp and diagnostic scanner • ITI certificate in auto electrical or electronics, or equivalent The role involves: • Check charging system output and battery voltage • Solder and heat-shrink wiring joints • Repair and re-tape damaged wiring looms • Programme keys and reset immobilisers • Read and clear ECU fault codes Rotating shifts.
