Steel fixer — Eastern West Khasi Hills

Join our team: we are hiring a steel fixer in Eastern West Khasi Hills, Meghalaya. You will be based on a busy residential building site. You should have: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules You will install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
