Ironing operator wanted in Kathua

Vacancy available: we are hiring an ironing operator in Kathua, State of Jammu and Kashmir. You will be based at a dry cleaner's. You should have: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment On the job you will handle: • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics Part-time with flexible hours.
