The role involves: • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
