Now hiring: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Mamit, Mizoram. You will work at a busy production line. Day to day you will lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc. We are looking for 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding; steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances. 6+ years on the tools preferred. ₹32,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
