Immediate opening: garment machinist (State of Tamil Nadu)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a garment machinist in Thiruvallur, State of Tamil Nadu. The job is in a textile and apparel unit. You will topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line. You should have: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines PF/ESI and paid leave as per norms.
