Urgent requirement: bar bender and fixer (State of Uttarakhand)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Nainital, State of Uttarakhand. You will work at a precast concrete yard. Day-to-day duties: • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat Requirements: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
