Urgent requirement: we are hiring a power float operator in Baudh, State of Odisha. The job is on a building construction site. Ideally you have sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods; able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours. The role involves: • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
