Requirements: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding Your main tasks: • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
