The role involves measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery. You should bring knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron; proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges; 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience.
