Day-to-day duties: • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
