Ideal candidate: • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds Day to day you will replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets; fault-find control boards and defrost timers; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture.
