Immediate opening: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Chamoli, State of Uttarakhand. Ideal candidate: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Day-to-day duties: • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions Six days a week, one day off.
