Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tig welder in Ramanagara, State of Karnataka. You will work at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Your main tasks: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints We are looking for able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through; steady hands and good close-up eyesight; proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. ₹22,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
