We are recruiting: we are hiring a banksman in Balrampur, Uttar Pradesh. You will be based at a shipyard. Ideally you have willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather; able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear; proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites. On the job you will handle: • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week — bring your tools.
