Sand plant operator — Dhamtari

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Dhamtari, State of Chhattisgarh. The job is at a brass and bronze foundry. Your main tasks: • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity Requirements: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
