The role involves operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans. You should bring understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits; strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping. Pay around ₹24,000 per month, based on your experience.
