Now hiring: we are hiring a fettler in Gumla, State of Jharkhand. The role involves: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together You should bring willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts; understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling. 6+ years on the tools preferred. ₹33,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
