Day to day you will feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray; mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour; strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair; mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting; buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections; measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line. You should have: • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay.
