Now hiring: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh. The job is at a shipyard. On a typical shift you will tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight. You should have: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts.
