We are recruiting: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in West Garo Hills, Meghalaya. What we are looking for: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking The role involves: • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week — bring your tools.
