Urgent requirement: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Sonitpur, Assam. You will be based at a halal meat counter. Your main tasks: • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights We are looking for physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day; able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry. ₹24,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
